Description
This course provides an overview of methodological research practices for film and the other media arts. Research skills and tools are developed in order to prepare for the master's written thesis, media production thesis, or for the examination. This course may be repeated for credit with permission of the instructor and graduate coordinator. Prerequisite: Matriculation in the graduate Cinema and Media Studies program or permission of instructor; required of all candidates for the MA degree in Cinema and Media Studies. Students are encouraged to enroll in the class during their first semester.
