Description
The basic principles of formal and informal assessment used in various classroom settings will be examined. The critical areas of assessment covered include domains of intelligence, academic achievement, language, behavior, and secondary transition. The development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on the assessment results is also covered. Ten hours of fieldwork enhance student's experience in assessment. NOTE: This course has a material fee.
